InfraWorks Bridge analysis
. You can take that bridge and send to Revit, and of course it will have a means to build your bridge and continue your design right inside the Revit software. We're going to look at some other inter-operability capabilities within InfraWorks in a later section of videos. But if I open up the design review and engineer structures category icon, and I go to the analysis subsection, notice one of the options is line girder analysis. If I select this, some of the settings for this, you can make adjustments on whether or not you have a permissible factor and how high that permissible factor is, whether or not to control the bending elements in our design. You can even set it up so that when it creates an analysis and writes it out to a report, you can set up your project information to have a project name, a company name, and even your logo on that report. Now when you hit the start analysis, this may take some time. It's going to run it in the cloud, and it will take some time. It may be a few minutes, but once the analysis is done, the 15 girders were analyzed and then provided some information about those analyses, and notice as I zoom or orbit around, that some of these girders are colorized differently. So the red ones, if I float over them, you get a better understanding of the permissible factor of those girders and that's why they're colored red. They're below our permissible factor. Anything that's green, of course, is acceptable, but the permissible factors that are close or above are going to be colored orange. Anything that's actually above is going to be colored red. So these permissible factors are going to be getting pretty close. This one is right at 0.96, whereas the others that are not even close are colored green, so it gives us again, a quick view of the analysis that it's run. But there's more than just running the line girder analysis. You can always right click as well and get quantities. A lot of different analysis that can be done with bridge designs again, right here within InfraWorks.
